**What is “Vidro”?** Vidro is a traditional glass that expresses beautiful colors reminiscent of “Tombolo” beads. The beauty that changes in brilliance when light shines through is comparable to that of gemstones, unique to glass beads. *Please note that the vidrio cans are made of steel and feature a combination of cut seams and patterns, finished in a modern Japanese style.*
**[Abahataen Deep Steamed Tea]** Deep-steamed tea made using premium tea leaves: Abahataen's tea is a “deep steamed tea” made using a method that steams the leaves three to four times longer than regular sencha.
**[What is Covered Tea?]** Covered tea refers to tea that is cultivated by covering the tea fields with shading nets for several days before the new buds are harvested, shielding them from strong sunlight. This cultivation method is still relatively rare even in the tea-growing region of Shizuoka.
**[Features of Nozomi]** Nozomi, grown deliberately under shade, offers a distinct flavor. By shielding the tea fields with a shading net, the chlorophyll in the tea leaves increases, resulting in a deep green color. The tea brewed from these leaves has a very beautiful green hue. Due to a high content of the umami component "theanine," it has less astringency and is a mellow tea with strong umami. There is a refined aroma unique to tea cultivated under cover.
**[Tea from the Makinohara Plateau]** The Makinohara Plateau benefits from long hours of sunlight, allowing nutrient-rich, thick tea leaves to thrive. By steaming these leaves for an extended period, the tannin (bitterness) content is reduced, while the amino acid theanine (sweetness) increases, resulting in a smooth tea. The leaves become fine yet exhibit a beautiful deep green color, characterized by mellow sweetness and deep richness.
**[Natural Regeneration Agriculture using Rice Husk Compost]** Every autumn, we create rice husk compost by fermenting rice husks, rice bran, and rapeseed cake with effective microorganisms in the soil. This nutrient-rich rice husk compost is evenly spread across vast fields, promoting the proliferation of microorganisms in the soil, enriching the soil, and enhancing its inherent fertility through natural regeneration agriculture.
