Tsuboichi Kohrikyu Hojicha (Japanese paper bag) 60g Top Quality
A skilled roaster slowly and lightly roasts the stems to bring out a refreshing aroma, resulting in a golden, light-colored hojicha.
Its refined and mellow flavor is enjoyed in Michelin-starred restaurants, setting it apart from regular hojicha.
This is the hojicha served at the Saryo.
[What is Tsuboichi...?]
Tsuboichi was founded in Sakai in 1850 (Kaei 3) at the end of the Edo period. For over 170 years, operating under the belief that "tea connects people," the company has been providing high-quality, fresh, safe, secure, and affordable tea as "tea for daily life."
In addition, based on the belief that tea contributes to health, the company was one of the first to independently research deep-steamed tea and oolong tea, and is supported by customers not only in Sakai but all over the country.
Tsuboichi has been manufacturing and selling tea for over 170 years, adapting to the times.
In February 2023, we obtained the international standard "FSSC22000" for food safety management systems. "FSSC22000" is positioned as the highest level of food safety standards, encompassing many standards such as ISO.
In order to continue providing safe products to everyone, Tsuboichi's food safety system has been further strengthened to global standards.
