Mino ware is a general term for ceramics made in areas such as Tajimi, Toki, Kani, Mizunami, and Kasahara in the Tono region of Gifu Prefecture. The Tono region is Japan's ceramic production base (accounting for over 60% of Japan's total share), and Toki City is the city with the largest amount of ceramic production.
