The large yunomi (Japanese tea cup) measures 7.1 cm in diameter and 8.2 cm in height, while the small one is 6.8 cm in diameter and 7.7 cm in height. These cups come in a special gift box. Kutani ware is recognized as one of Japan's three major color-painted ceramics, known globally as a representative traditional craft of Japan. Made in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, they are crafted from ceramic materials.

The Kutani technique of Ginsai involves applying transparent glaze or colored glazes over a silver leaf base, resulting in exquisite colors that cannot be fully expressed in words. The cups exhibit a subtle brilliance, a gentle shine, and a glass-like quality. This elaborate method requires firing the pieces more than usual, making it a labor-intensive process. It is important to note that what is used is not conventional silver leaf; rather, it is a much thicker layer that is about seven times the thickness of typical silver leaf, demonstrating a luxurious technique.
