Noguchi Kumataro Green Tea & Matcha Incense, Awaji Island

Product description

This incense is blended with 10% matcha from Uji, Kyoto, along with sandalwood, patchouli, and clove, creating a scent that combines green tea and matcha. Within the refreshing aroma of green tea reminiscent of tea fields, a subtle sweetness of matcha delicately wafts through the air.

Awaji Island produces about 70% of the incense made in Japan. Among those on the island, only 14 artisans known as "Kōshi," or scent masters, have specially crafted this blend. The "Kōshi" who have been involved in incense production on Awaji Island have preserved its traditions and quality, creating "kō" that brings a moment of tranquility to daily life.

There are approximately 40 sticks per pack.
