Introduction to the Painting Style of Kutani Ware: Yoshidaya, founded by Denemon Toyoda (approximately 180 years ago), aimed to revive the ancient Kutani style. They incorporated the blue hand-painted technique of the old Kutani without using red, employing four colors: blue (green), yellow, purple, and navy. The patterns feature intricate designs combined with small motifs, creating a rich and dense artistic style that exudes a unique atmosphere.
Kutani ware is highly regarded globally as one of Japan's top three colored porcelain wares and as a representative traditional craft of Japan, 'Japan Kutani.'
