Our Story
Japan has spent centuries perfecting the art of making. The subtle weight of a Bizen-yaki cup. The golden seams of a Kintsugi repair. The silence of a tea ceremony, or lacquerware worn smooth from years of use. These things don't happen by accident — they come from makers who chose depth over speed, generation after generation.
We created CHAWARE to bring that same care to people outside Japan, not as something to display, but as objects for everyday life. Our name comes from chawan (茶碗) — the Japanese tea bowl, a simple form that has held its shape for centuries because it never needed to change.
