✦ HOW TO USE

Step 1: Sift approximately 1–2 scoops of matcha powder through the tea sieve into the matcha bowl to remove any lumps.

Step 2: Add approximately 70–80ml of hot water (around 80°C). Avoid using boiling water to preserve the delicate flavour.

Step 3: Using the bamboo whisk (chasen), whisk briskly in a "W" or "M" motion until a fine, creamy froth forms on the surface.

Step 4: Enjoy your matcha directly from the bowl. For a smoother pour, the katakuchi (pouring bowl) may also be used.

Step 5: After use, rinse the whisk gently with warm water and place it on the whisk holder (kusenaoshi) to maintain its shape.
