This is a Kutani ware matcha bowl. It incorporates and condenses the charm that can be conveyed through hand-painting. Made from thick and sturdy Ao-shino clay, it has a weight of around 450g, giving it a solid texture. The design features a stylish and bright depiction of hydrangeas from the cute flower series, using a special technique that scatters the paint. The front is adorned with pink and blue, while the back and the underside are pink.

This product is the first in the industry to feature a non-rough finish on the foot rim, making it smooth. Typically, the foot rim is left uncolored, but this coloring adds to the aesthetic appeal and helps prevent scratches.
