Product description
The cup has a size of 9.2 cm in diameter and 9 cm in height and comes in a special gift box. Kutani ware is highly regarded worldwide as one of Japan's three major colored porcelain types and symbolizes traditional Japanese craftsmanship, specifically "Japan Kutani." It is produced in Ishikawa, Japan, and is made of porcelain (Kutani ware).
The artistic style of Kutani ware is exemplified by Yoshidaya and Denemon Toyoda, who, about 180 years ago, aimed to revive the ancient Kutani style. Yoshidaya kiln incorporated the blue hand-painted technique of ancient Kutani without using red, utilizing a color palette of blue (green), yellow, purple, and navy. The intricate designs, complemented by fine patterns, showcase a rich and unique ambiance.
This Kutani cup is ideal for various gifting occasions such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Respect for the Aged Day, retirement celebrations, and milestone birthdays like kenshi, koki, kiw birthday celebrations, and more, making it a thoughtful gift choice.
