"9KOS Incense — Incense Born from Kyushu-Sourced Ingredients"
When lit, 9KOS incense releases a lingering aroma born from the blessings of Kyushu’s nature.
Key features:
1) Evolving scent from first light to lingering aroma — Burn time: approx. 20–25 minutes. The fragrance gently spreads to create a calming atmosphere, and the remaining scent after extinguishing blends into daily life to promote relaxation. The formula contains a high proportion of aromatic components so the natural character is vivid. The sticks are specially made thicker than typical incense to deliver a mellow, long-lasting fragrance while keeping smoke light enough to enjoy the lingering scent.
2) Commitment to Kyushu-sourced ingredients — Fragrance: "Yakushima Forest" (Kagoshima/Yakushima). Based on precious Yakusugi (Yakushima cedar) essential oil, it’s a woody, earthy scent evoking rain-soaked Yakushima. Yakushima, Japan’s first Natural World Heritage site, is famed for ancient Yakusugi cedars and abundant rainfall (legend says "35 rainy days in a month"). The blend combines the forestiness of Yakusugi oil with cyclamen and patchouli to create a rain-soil impression with a comforting, nostalgic quality.

"9KOS Incense" — born from Kyushu ingredients. When lit, the scent derived from Kyushu’s nature gently fills the space and lingers afterward.

1) Gradual scent transition and lasting aroma: Each stick burns about 20–25 minutes, releasing a soft fragrance that calms the mind and creates a tranquil atmosphere. After extinguishing, the lingering aroma blends into daily life and promotes relaxation. The formula maximizes natural fragrance components so the scent spreads well without producing excessive smoke; the thickness of the sticks has been refined compared with typical incense to deliver a lower, longer-lasting scent experience.
2) Commitment to Kyushu-sourced materials: The fragrance, called "Hinoki & Volcano," uses Aso, Kumamoto ingredients. It’s built on Aso hinoki (Japanese cypress) essential oil and features a slightly addictive smoky, woody character that evokes the vast Aso caldera—formed by four massive eruptions about 270,000 years ago—and its expansive grasslands.
