Introduction to Kutani Ware Style: The early Kutani style, known as "Kokutani," was developed about 360 years ago by Saijiro Goto during the Kan'ei period (around 1655) with support from the Daishoji domain. Under the guidance of the renowned Japanese painter Moriaki Kusumi from the Kano school, the style prominently features five colors: blue (green), yellow, red, purple, and dark blue. This artistic form is characterized by bold compositions and delicate lines, making it quintessentially Kutani in style.

Kutani Ware is highly regarded as one of Japan's top three colored pottery styles and is recognized worldwide as a representative traditional craft known as "Japan Kutani."

Recommended for gifts: Ideal for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Respect-for-the-Aged Day, retirement celebrations, milestone birthdays (such as 60th, 70th, 77th, 80th, and 88th), and other special occasions!
