Introduction to Kutani ware technique: Ginsai. This sophisticated color cannot be fully expressed in words. It features a design where transparent glaze or five-color glaze is applied over a layer resembling silver foil. Characterized by a calm brilliance, gentle shine, and a glass-like texture, this technique requires an additional firing in the kiln compared to typical methods, making it a labor-intensive process. It is important to note that it is not actual silver foil; instead, it utilizes a thickness approximately seven times that of silver foil to prevent it from melting, resulting in a luxurious technique.

Kutani ware, regarded as one of Japan’s three great colored porcelain and a representative traditional craft known as "Japan Kutani," is highly esteemed worldwide.

Country of production: Japan (Ishikawa Prefecture), Material: Ceramics (Kutani ware). Recommended for gifting occasions such as wedding celebrations, anniversaries, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Respect for the Aged Day, retirement celebrations, and 60th birthday celebrations, among others!
