Product Description
The large teacup measures 7.5 cm in diameter and 8.5 cm in height, while the small teacup measures 6.9 cm in diameter and 7.8 cm in height. They come in a gift box. Kutani ware is renowned as one of Japan's three major colored ceramics and is celebrated globally as a representative traditional craft of Japan.
These products are made in Japan (Ishikawa Prefecture) using Kutani porcelain. The painting style of Kutani, specifically by Yoshidaya, was developed about 180 years ago by Denemon Toyoda, aiming to revive the ancient Kutani style. Yoshidaya incorporates the traditional blue-painted style of ancient Kutani without using red, employing four colors: blue (green), yellow, purple, and navy. This creates intricate patterns and a distinctive heavy aesthetic.
These teacups are highly recommended as gifts for occasions such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Respect for the Aged Day, celebrations for turning 60, 70, and 77, retirement, commemorative gifts, wedding anniversaries, and weddings.
