This is a traditional Japanese sake set featuring a tokkuri (sake bottle) with a capacity of 350ml and a guinomi (sake cup) measuring 7.5cm in diameter and 3.5cm in height. It comes in a gift box with a tray included. The set is produced in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, from Kutani ware ceramic, known for its vibrant colors and intricate designs.

The unique aspect of this product is the combination of Kutani ware with Kanazawa gold leaf, which is renowned for its exceptional quality. Kanazawa produces 98% of the nation’s gold leaf and 100% of its silver leaf. Crafting gold leaf requires high skill, capable of creating sheets as thin as 1/10,000 of a millimeter, and artisans can stretch a piece the size of a 10-yen coin to cover a tatami mat. The humid climate and excellent water quality in Kanazawa contribute to the high quality of gold leaf.

This sake set represents 360 years of Kutani ware and 400 years of Kanazawa gold leaf tradition, highlighting the rich artisanal heritage of the Kaga region. It is highly regarded as one of Japan's top traditional crafts, often referred to as "Japan Kutani."
