Sunmany Arita Porcelain Incense Tray Compact Pink

Product description

A stylish incense holder made of Arita-yaki porcelain. This horizontal, lay-flat incense dish works as a butsudan censer but is also perfect as an interior accent for living rooms, entrances, and pairs well with Scandinavian decor. Use it for meditation, Zen practice, or mindfulness—it holds relaxing fragrant incense or traditional incense sticks (senkō).

Comes in an individual gift box, making it a nice present when paired with incense. Because the incense is laid flat on the dish, you can burn sticks completely without breaking them, and there’s no risk of them tipping over or ash scattering. It’s safe to use during hot seasons (e.g., Obon) even with air-conditioning, and it can be used outdoors as a grave/incense holder. It also accommodates stick-type mosquito coils.

No censer ash is required, so daily care is easy; the dish is washable with water. It can also be used alongside a formal incense offering set (goyōkō) when performing ritual offerings. Made in Japan by a leading manufacturer in the Buddhist altar and fittings industry. Size: 50 × 130 × 30 mm (fits mini incense without breaking).
