This horizontal, “lying-down” incense plate works as a butsudan (house altar) censer and also as an interior accessory for living rooms, entrances, and Nordic-style interiors. Suitable for meditation, Zen, and mindfulness practices; use with relaxing incense or incense sticks. Packaged in an individual box, it makes a good gift when paired with incense. Because the incense lies flat, it burns to the end without breaking, won’t tip over, and prevents ash scatter—so it’s safe to use even in summer with air conditioning. Usable outdoors as a grave/incense holder and compatible with stick-type mosquito coils. No censer ash is required, making daily care easy; washable with water when needed.
